Pipeline
The Pipeline page gives you a visual overview of all your deals and projects, showing where each opportunity stands from first contact through completion.
Key Features
- Kanban Board: See all deals organized in columns by stage — Leads, Proposal, Contracted, In Progress, Completed, and On Hold
- Drag & Drop: Move a deal to a new stage by dragging its card to the target column — the change saves automatically
- List View: Switch to a compact table view grouped by stage, useful for scanning many deals at once
- Summary Stats: Four cards at the top show your total Pipeline Value, number of Active Deals, Won This Month value, and overall Win Rate
- Quick View: Click any deal card to open a detail panel showing account, dates, contact, financial progress, and current status
- Status Change: Update a deal's stage directly from the Quick View panel without leaving the page
- Filters: Narrow the board by account or by deal type (Event, Production, Rental, Service, Retainer, etc.)
- Financial Progress: Each card shows the estimated value and a progress bar indicating how much has been paid versus invoiced
- Priority Indicators: A color-coded bar on each card marks deals as Low, Normal, High, or Urgent
How to Use
- Open the Pipeline page from the sidebar to see your Kanban board
- Review the summary cards at the top for a quick health check of your sales activity
- To move a deal forward, drag its card from the current column and drop it into the next stage
- Use the Account or Type filters to focus on a specific client or deal category
- Click any card to open the Quick View — here you can read deal details, check financial progress, and change the status using the dropdown
- Click Full Edit in the Quick View to open the full project editor
- Toggle to List view using the Board/List buttons if you prefer a tabular layout
Tips
- The Pipeline Value stat only counts active deals (not completed or cancelled), so it reflects your real open opportunity total
- Win Rate is calculated from all projects, including historical ones — a higher rate means more deals are reaching Completed status
- Use the Table View button to jump to the Projects page for creating new deals or doing bulk edits
- Deals with urgent priority show a red bar on the left edge of their card — check these first
